There’s been a couple different genre flicks out there called THE HOMECOMING… well I’m here tonight to tell you about yet another one! This one is actually pretty twisted and exciting. Read on and see if you agree!
According to QuietEarth THE HOMECOMING’s synopsis reads: Nate and Alice are spending the last days of summer with their parents in a small cabin on a remote island when their parents inform them that they’re going to separate. When they leave the island, they discover that every last one of the inhabitants of the closest town has died.
Little by little they discover that they are not the only ones left alive on the planet but the rest of the survivors of the catastrophe represent a threat from which they must run without respite until they finally reach home and find the answer to all their questions.
That sounds good to me! I’m officially stoked, especially considering I love the whole ‘discover everyone has died’ thing. Not sold yet? Well get this: THE ORPHANAGE writer Sergio G. Sánchez will be directing! Now while I didn’t find THE OPRHANAGE as scary as I’d hoped, it was still a pretty wicked story.
QuietEarth recently got a look at the poster for THE HOMECOMING as well, seen above. So far HOMECOMING seems like something that’s going to catch people’s eyes. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this one so keep it here for any more HOMECOMING updates as we hear them.
