The guys over at Dread Central pointed us all towards an interesting looking zombie flick today. It’s called AFTERMATH and you can scope out the new poster for the film above.
Exciting right? No, not really. But I’m not going to write this one off yet. Regardless of the boring poster AFTERMATH seems to have some potential. It’s described as a ‘post-apocalyptic zombie flick’ with the synopsis reading: Aftermath is a genre character piece set against the backdrop of the deep forest after the abrupt end of the world. Society has collapsed in on itself as we follow five strangers trekking through the woods trying only to survive and escape the chaos of the city. But as tentions grow high, and blood starts to shed, they realize that there is truly no escaping the end.
Hmm.. sure not as much potential as we’d hope but it’s definitely worth waiting for a teaser. AFTERMATH comes from Canadian director Laurent Piche with a script from Josh Hatfield.
