I’ve just come across one damn interesting flick that is just bursting with potential. It’s called WHITE WALL and you can find its new first poster up top. I’m not even 100% sure what I’m looking at with that poster, but for some reason, I know I really like it! And after checking out the flick’s slam-bang teaser, I do believe that this WALL is definitely going to be worth climbing over! It’s an insane hybrid of apocalyptic dread, sci-fi, and even kung fu! The setting is a wasteland enclosed by a large white wall where a virus has decimated humanity and left the world in squalor and full of violence. Shawn Kors, the last survivor from a brutal child internment camp inside the wall reluctantly takes on one final bounty hunting job to protect the idyllic life he has rebuilt. He is also searching for a way out as well as a cure to the virus, VXII, but then gets close to the truth.
I’m not quite sure what all this means, but I can guarantee that it’s all leading somewhere big. WHITE WALL was directed by James Boss (who also stars as “Shawn Kors”) from a script by Vivian Kyinn. The rest of the cast consists of Gary Kohn, Michael The, Aurelie Kyinn, John Klemantaski, and Hugh Mason. It’s set to release in the U.S. some time in 2009.
