Sack-Head Jason

I guess you could consider this article a Minor SPOILER, just in case you didn’t want a partial idea of the manner with which Jason Voorhees chooses to conceal his hideous face before he obtains his signature hockey mask. Up top, you will find an image of Mezco Toys’ model of the updated version of Jason’s “Sack-Head” disguise which he wore in FRIDAY PART 2. Apparently, here is how he will be wearing it in the re-imagining set to open February 13th 2009.

I really like it! The “giant bag” that Jason wore in part 2 would probably come off as a little silly nowadays. That less-bulky, DARKMAN-esque, wrapped look above seems to have more menace. I also really like that bloody pick-axe he’s holding (perhaps a challenge to the MY BLOODY VALENTINE remake?).

If you’d like to own one of these toy Jasons, the recommendation is you get to your nearest collectibles/comic shop to put in an order. These replicas are only going to be around for a limited time and will be ready to ship this coming February.
