Oh rats! Here comes some disease-infested tiny terrors out for something more than just cheese! And, oh boy, if you like cheese then wait till you get a slice of this new flick’s title: RAT SCRATCH FEVER! Ingenious! It’s coming to us from indie horror maven Jeff Leroy, who certainly knows a thing or two about hairy beasts and cheese (he made also WEREWOLF IN A WOMEN’S PRISON). Have a look at the wild plot:
The mousy madness begins when astronaut Sonja travels with a team to a distant planet in search of life. The private firm that finances her mission is the Steel Space Corporation, founded by Dr. Steel. When Sonja’s mission goes awry after being attacked by giant rats from another planet, her ex-marine boyfriend, Jake, has to race against time to save her from Doctor Steel.
Wait a minute! So we’re talking giant rats from another planet?! And there’s even a race against time?! Holy shit, we could be in for the cheesiest, cheese-tastic time ever!! After watching the crazy creepy crawly trailer below, I think you may agree with me. That’s not to say that this is a bad thing either. It kind of looks like an homage to the old monster/munster (cheese) flicks way back in the day.
