You think a so-so movie that was only mildly entertaining would try harder in creating an entertaining and totally awesome DVD cover to suck people in who may be on the fence about picking this up. But no… nope, they went with a boring cover. I guess it’s fitting. You’d probably be better off rewatching the first two Mummy’s, and maybe even xXx–but this? Only if you want to see how bad it actually is. And judging from the cover… it’s gonna be bad!

300 LIMITED COLLECTORS EDITION – November 18th
Since it’s only been a year since the original double / single disc special edition of 300 hit DVD, you’re probably itching to throw down another $40 on yet another special edition. But where most double-dips feature an extra featurette and a new cover, this new 300 edition is probably worth it–check out all the cool shite you get, plus that nifty hologram thingy. I don’t know why, but I need me one of those. One question? Why not include the original graphic novel by Frank Miller re: the SIN CITY special edition? Either way, this beast looks badass.

THE BLOODY APE – December 15th
What the hell is up with the fascination of making ape movies? Was it KING KONG that screwed us into film after film featuring a ferocious killer ape? ‘Classic’ ape movies that come to mind are BRIDE OF THE GORILLA, THE MIGHTY GORGA, and let’s not forget Tim Burton’s PLANET OF THE APES. Fellow news editor Eric is obsessed with these kinds of pictures, maybe because he has fetish with big, hairy beasts with a resemblance to human beings. Well here’s another ape movie for ya Eric, one I’m sure will be at the top of your must have lists. Go nuts.. or should I say, go ape shit!

REDNECK ZOMBIES: 20TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION –January 27th – Because it’s been 20 years and this flick still feels fresh.. as fresh as a rotting corpse!
CIRCULATION –December 9th – Because I have no idea what it’s about. Yes, it’s that slow!
DEMONIACS January 27th – Because the title is fun to try and attempt to pronounce… just don’t sound it out load, people will think you’re nuts.
