So Tim Burton’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND is well into production and seems to be panning out nicely. Not too long ago we told you about two big name females joining the movie in Anne Hathaway and Tim Burton’s main squeeze Helena Bonham Carter. Well today The Hollywood Reporter have another name joining ALICE IN WONDERLAND…
And that name is Crispin Glover! I’m sorry, but Crispin Glover (right) can do no wrong. He can star in a movie where he plays a guy that walks down the street and I’d have a blast watching him, that’s just what Glover does. So having Mr. Glover sign onto this twisted tale coming from the mind of Tim Burton has me all kinds of excited! Glover will be playing the Knave of Hearts, who’s put on trial for stealing tarts from the Queen of Hearts and is defended by Alice.
Other characters include Hathaway (below) playing the White Queen, Carter stepping in for the Red Queen, the great Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweeldedum, and Mia Wasikowska as the titular Alice.
So there you have it. ALICE IN WONDERLAND is gearing up with all kinds of potential… who knows if it’ll pan out though. We’ll definately be keeping an eye on it so keep it here for updates.
