More Dexter coming

It’s no secret that DEXTER is a hit. I’ll go out on a limb and say DEXTER single handedly propelled Showtime past HBO… though I’d personally take ENTOURAGE over DEXTER anyday. But that doesn’t mean DEXTER isn’t a brilliant television show. That’s pretty obvious by the buzz it’s gotten over it’s first two seasons… the news today only proves that point.

DEXTER’s Season 3 just started last month and The Hollywood Reporter have word that the show has just scored 2 more seasons for Showtime! That’s some pretty sweet news. I get the feeling DEXTER won’t get stale either, so we’ll be getting to see that homicidal hero hack, slash, and investigate for 24 more episodes!

In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, DEXTER is the popular drama show on Showtime that deals with a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer. It stars Michael C. Hall as the titular character along with regulars Julie Benz (below), C.S. Lee, Christina Robinson, Jennifer Carpenter, Lauren Velez, David Zayas, and James Remar. It’s based on the books by Jeff Lindsay.

DEXTER Season 4 is set to start production this Spring in Los Angeles. So it looks like we’ll be keeping you all in the loop for anything and everything DEXTER for two more seasons. Enjoy!
