Fear’s Dark Path

Because you can’t get enough vampires and vampire-related horror media to fit your fancy, and because you don’t really count TWILIGHT as a true and blue vampire horror flick, FearNET is hooking you up in just a couple of weeks, with their new music-themed vampire series THE DARK PATH CHRONICLES!

You read that right, ‘music-themed vampire series.’ But what does that entail? I’m guessing the series will be a bunch of music videos strung together with a vampire theme. Mary Lambert is headlining the project, as she not only has experience directing music videos for the likes of Madonna and Janet Jackson (below), but she also directed the classic Stephen King tale, PET SEMETARY.

Featuring music by up and coming Goth bands like Zombi, Junius, Jesu, Watch Me Burn, and Prophet 7:13, the series revolves around a young vampire just awakened from hibernation and a teenage girl who hears voices who together explore a parallel reality.

Wait, wait, wait… vampires and a regular teenage girl? I guess this is kind of a TWILIGHT inspired gig. Damn it! Oh well, with Lambert on board and the twisted sounds of Zombi, this may actually be one step cooler than TWILIGHT… or at least we can hope!

THE DARK PATH CHRONICLES airs on FearNET November 6th!
