Almost a month ago word dropped that the ‘sometimes/used-to-be’ gorgeous Christina Ricci had stepped in to take Kate Bosworth’s place in AFTER.LIFE. Well it seems like Ricci has a pretty impressive co-star all lined up.

That man would be Liam Neeson, so The Hollywood Reporter tells us. Neeson will be taking Alfred Molina’s spot in the movie. I think it’s pretty safe to say that Neeson (right) can do no wrong, so this is all fine and dandy with me! Let’s just hope Ricci (below) can return to form with a solid genre flick in AFTER.LIFE.

The movie is described as a psychologcial thriller and follows a young woman caught between life and death. A funeral director appears to have the gift of transitioning the dead, but may be intent on burying her alive. Neeson as a funeral director who deals with the dead? I didn’t think the man could get any better!

AFTER.LIFE comes from director Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo, who also penned the script. It’s pegged to start shooting in New York next month. So keep it here for any more AFTER.LIFE updates as we hear them!
