Wow! Here’s a crazy sweet tidbit regarding the forthcoming remake of the classic 1988 spookfest NIGHT OF THE DEMONS. Does the name Linnea Quigley ring a bell deep within your loins? If you’re on this site, it damn well better! 80’s Scream Queen, Zero Aversion To Nudity, and Played the Super Sexy Suzanne in the Original NIGHT OF THE DEMONS (above)! Now, get this: Ms. Quigley will be making a cameo in the remake! It’s true! STYD recently visited the New Orleans set and scored the scoop. Have a look at what director, Adam Gierasch, had to say on Linnea.:

“She does something familiar for the fans. It’s a huge homage to the first movie. She’s totally cool. We shot a lot of [behind-the-scenes] video of her reciting her lines from NIGHT OF THE DEMONS that are going to come out sporadically online or as DVD extras.”

Hmm, something “familiar for the fans”, huh? I wonder if that something would involve lipstick or a skirt… or hopefully both! Jeez, I just can’t get over it! Like we needed another reason to see this remake. We’ve already got extreme hotties Shannon Elizabeth, Diora Baird, Monica Keena, Bobbi Sue Luther (below), and Tiffany Shepis in the cast! But having Ms. Quigley is the unexpected icing on the cake! We won’t have to wait much longer. The release date is set for February 2009.
