So back in August we got a look at the first still from DORIAN GRAY… and frankly, it sucked. When we get a still from a flick, we expect something that’s going to snag our attention and make us beg to see more… that shot above just doesn’t do that for me..
But alas, today we have something that might change that. BBC show FILM 2008 got to hit the set of DORIAN GRAY and were kind enough to through up some footage for us all. Go ahead and check that out below.
So what do you think? Make up for that boring still? Let’s hope to see some badass stuff from DORIAN GRAY soon. Now I’ve always loved the story of DORIAN GRAY, and I’m stoked to see we’ll be seeing a modern adaption hit the screen soon… but I’m not sold yet. Let’s hope that changes.
DORIAN GRAY follows a young man who becomes the subject of a painting. As the man descends into a hedonistic lifestyle, the portrait begins to age and morph, but he doesn’t. Potientially twisted stuff right? The flick stars Ben Barnes as the titular character. It also stars Colin Firth, Rebecca Hall (below), Emilia Fox, Ben Chaplin, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Fiona Shaw, Maryam D’Abo, Pip Torrens, Douglas Henshall, Caroline Goodall, Michael Culkin, Johnny Harris and Max Irons. It comes from director Oliver Parker with the script by Toby Finlay. It’s set to hit theaters in November 2009. We’ll keep an eye out for any more DORIAN GRAY updates and hope to see something more twisted soon.
