Quarantine on TV

It’s hard to believe that QUARANTINE is hitting theaters in just over 2 weeks. Why is it hard to believe? Because Universal hasn’t been pimping the shit out of it like they normally would. By this time, there should be clips up the wazoo, images galore, and so much QUARANTINE stuff out there that you’re almost sick of it. But that’s simply not the case here. In fact, there’s not much out there at all!

So the fact that they’ve finally released a TV spot for the flick??? Awesome–I mean, hey, it looks like they’re trying, right? Hell, SAW V has even had a TV spot at this point already, and it trails QUARANTINE’s release date by 2 weeks!

After you’ve checked out the TV spot below you’ll notice that it doesn’t show you anything you haven’t seen before. It’s almost boring because there’s nothing new… except that it’s the first TV spot! If you were expecting a bone thrown at you because you’ve waited for so long to see something you haven’t seen before… well, prepare to be disappointed.

That said, it does feature the money shot! So that’s cool… I guess… After the panel at Comic Con consisted of showing the film’s trailer and Universal’s current lack of marketing efforts, I’m beginning to think we may have a royal turd on our hands–at least, one that the studio isn’t behind. Get ready for it October 10th!
