STYD scored the first ‘official’ image from the upcoming CHILDREN OF THE CORN adaptation / remake today, and while the above pic is just a small piece of the full image, you can see that there isn’t all that much to get excited about.
A ‘first image’ should grab your attention, it should be so cool and inspiring that you want to see more. This new image looks like it could from any movie set in a field. Hell, this could be a new football movie for all I know, not something out of a Stephen King tale.
Anyway, maybe I’m wrong… maybe I’m just a whiner who demands too much out of ‘first images,’ and maybe this flick will rock harder than what we’ve seen thus far. CORN stars David Anders, Kandyse McClure, Daniel Newman, and Preston Bailey, and is directed by Donald P. Borchers.
