You may remember that when I say this is Schroder’s, I don’t mean he stars in the flick–nope, he’s the director (check out that breaking story HERE)! That said, the big news is that the director now has a star to be in his picture: Amanda Brooks! Wait–Amanda who???
You may remember Brooks from such films as FLIGHTPLAN, D-WAR, and this weeken’d MY BEST FRIEND’S GIRL. Ok, so you may not remember her at all, but let me tell you–she’s a hottie, which makes her A-ok in my book!
HELLHOUNDS also stars Scott Elrod as the male lead. As a refresher, the flick goes a little something like this: set in 500 B.C., [HELLHOUNDS] follows a Greek warrior who’s out to retrieve his babe from Hades. But along the way he must do battle with the titular canines who are out to stop him.
Hells yeah. Did I mention Ricky f*cking Schroder’s directing? Heh.. he is… I don’t know why, but I find that totally awesome. Let’s hope Brooks and Elrod deliver some worthy performances so this isn’t just another crappy Sci-Fi movie of the week…
