I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Aussies really know their horror. And this year, the continent Down Under seems to be looking to hammer that idea home with a slew of interesting genre efforts, the latest of which is called A PERFECT LIFE. As you can probably guess, that title is definitely a tad misleading. Have a look at the flick’s plot and you’ll understand why:
A revenge shocker that sees a love triangle pulled apart when husband Andy fails to leave his wife Helen for his workplace pal Rachel. Things end up in the psychotic Rachel’s studio, with Andy all tied up and wearing a very painfully placed catheter before the unkindest cut of all is delivered.
OUCH! That’s not good! The movie in general, however, does look pretty damn good. You can check out the trailer below. It’s sort of a cross between FATAL ATTRACTION and HARD CANDY. And as you can see from the pics up top and below, things get a little messy. Oh well, at least the wife and the workplace girl are hot.
LIFE was directed by Jith Sen. It was written by Johan Earl who also stars as husband Andy (above). The two women are played by Amelia Kaldor and Heidi Houghting. No word yet on an official release date.
