There’s an indie thriller in the works that I haven’t heard about until today… and I’m loving it! The film is called KILLING JAR. It comes from Mark Young, who’s writing and directing. The flick centers on a stranger armed with a shotgun who takes seven patrons hostage at a remote roadside diner. As the body count rises, the survivors discover that one of the hostages might be more dangerous than their captor.
That sounds pretty awesome right? Now throw in names like Michael Madsen and Danny Trejo and we have ourselves something to take note of! Now The Hollywood Reporter dropped a bit more casting news today in the form of Harold Perrineau.
Perrineau (above) will be playing one of the hostages and is probably most known for playing Michael on the TV show LOST. He’ll also be executive producing the project with Morningstar Films’ John Sachar producing.
Now honestly I could care less about Perrineau joining the cast. This one sounds like it’s more down Madsen and Trejo’s alley and I can’t wait to hear more! Filming started this past weekend in North Carolina so hopefully we’ll have more updates soon.
Evangeline Lilly is also in LOST … LOST is a good show. Real good.
