Passengers poster

Back in January (yes, some 9 months ago) was the last time we’ve heard from the airplane survival movie PASSENGERS, and even then, it was only a tease with a few new images to oogle over (check out the goodness HERE). Today, not only do we have a brand new poster for the film, but the gosh-darn trailer as well!

Starring the oh-so-f*cking-hot Anne Hathaway, Patrick Wilson, David Morse, and Dianne Wiest, and directed by Rodrigo García, PASSENGERS takes the idea of surviving a plane crash to a whole new level as the film centers on a grief counselor helping a group of plane survivors deal with a crash… when they start disappearing one by one, she begins to feel that things are not exactly how they seem.

Think FINAL DESTINATION, but for the more “mature” audience. After checking out the trailer below, I think you’ll come to the conclusion that a) Patrick Wilson, no matter what he is playing, always comes off as a bit ‘creepy,’ and b) this may be just the ticket when it hits theaters later this October.

I already have theories as to what’s up with the passengers that’s a bit THE SIXTH SENSE-ish, but I won’t divulge it just yet, as if I’m right, I wouldn’t want to “spoil” it for anybody. Least to say, I can’t wait to check this beast out and see if I was right or not.

Have a blast with the poster (which also helps my theory of the “survivors”), enjoy the trailer, and get ready for SURVIVORS in theaters everywhere October 24th (giving SAW V a run for its money).
