I came across this interesting little horror flick called SCARCE today and just had to pass it along. Now before I get into it, let me just inform you all that we’ve got three videos over in our videos section to go along with SCARCE, those can be found below.
Now SCARCE seems like a vicious slasher-meets-torture-porn. Now I know the whole ‘torture porn’ genre played itself out like a year ago… but I’m going to go ahead and give SCARCE the benefit of the doubt. Dare I say it looks pretty original and can maybe seperate itself from your generic torture flick? I guess we’ll see.
Now a couple posters for the flick have hit the net, those can be found above and below. I’ve also thrown up a nice little still from the second trailer below, just click through to get the NSFW goodies. SCARCE is pegged as a grueling frostbitten nightmare that depicts the horrifying fate of three snowboarders trapped at an isolated mountain cabin.
Sounds good to me! It stars Steve Warren, Gary Fischer, Thom Webb, and Chris Warrilow. It’s written and directed by John Geddes and Jesse Cook, who’re both also producing alongside John Cowan. If the trailers are any indication, this one is geared up to have some cheesy acting, boobs, and all out gore… the perfect ingredients for a slasher B movie.

Below you’ll find a short video of behind the scenes B-roll footage from SCARCE as well as two trailers, the second one being a few minutes longer and features some boobage, so that’s all good. Apparently SCARCE is set to hit DVD September 23.
