The boys over at AICN have come across some interesting and totally awesome news concerning this April’s upcoming vintage horror flick, THE WOLFMAN. Apparently none other than Danny Elfman himself will be scoring the film. That’s right, you heard read correctly… Danny f*cking Elfman.
The guy has had me sold as a genius after his work with BEATLEJUICE. Then BATMAN. Hell, even THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. He’s able to open our ears to the bizarre world of Tim Burton, but also give us something different, like his role of the theme song for THE SIMPSONS, and most recently, his work with summer blockbusters like HELLBOY II and WANTED.
Somehow, it only makes sense that Elfman is scoring THE WOLFMAN, as it seems like the perfect vehicle for Elfman to sink his claws into and make… well, totally awesome in true Elfman fashion.
