A few weeks back we were treated to the brand-spankin-new trailer for the upcoming UK horror flick EDEN LAKE (check that beast out HERE). Today we have an update for ya… just a few new stills that spell ‘romance’ versus ‘terror!’
They’re an interesting batch of stills and one has to be at least somewhat curious as to the reasoning behind releasing them. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say this flick was about a young couple in love spending the day at the lake while conversing life and what it’s like to be happy in the most romantic films of the year.
Of course, maybe that’s the plan afterall. To get unsuspecting moviegoers in their seats and then hit em’ with a one-two punch once events turn and the romance goes from cute to hardcore terror in the blink of an eye. More movies should be marketed this way…
