Our man Mike showed you the latest poster for MIRRORS yesterday, featuring a broken mirror and Kiefer Sutherland all banged up (check that out HERE). But wait, they weren’t through with just that one poster, as today two more international posters have surfaced, one looking cooler than the last!
They both look like they could be domestic posters, but apparently they’re not… their international, or at least that’s what they keep telling me, so I’ll go with it. One featuring a creepy kid playing with his reflection in the water… in a hallway, the other featuring Sutherland again, just walking down some stairs. Meh.
Personally, the image of the kid and the water is quite striking, giving that poster more oomf! than the other one, which is simply kind of boring. Sure, the reflection of Sutherland on the stairs is a good way to market a movie called MIRRORS, but it’s still just… boring.
That said, these two posters are not only very different from each other, but they have some style to them that a lot of new posters just don’t have anymore… it also doesn’t feature any ‘floating heads,’ which gives them both extra points in my book.
Enjoy the new posters, and get ready for MIRRORS in theaters next Friday!
