Dewan on Magdalena

A few years ago hottie Jenna Dewan starred in a little flick called TAMARA, a classic tale of high school revenge. Entertaining trash at its finest, and yet we surprisingly haven’t seen much of Dewan since then.. until now.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dewan and Luke Goss have both signed to star in MAGDALENA, based on the comic book of the same name. Produced by Gale Anne Hurd’s Valhalla Motion Pictures, Platinum Studios and Top Cow Productions, MAGDALENA goes a little something like this: a woman discovers that she’s a part of the lineage of female warriors descended from Mary Magdalene who fight supernatural evil.

So basically, it’s your classic Bible comic book superhero, battling demons and what have you… could be cool! As long as they steer clear of too many religious undertones and it doesn’t come off as being preachy, I think we may have a winner here. Why? Because Dewan is hot, and having her kick a bunch of ass will be even hotter!

Goss is set to play a secret agent sent to help Dewan do her thing. Like I said, considering the boob-a-liciousness of the source material, I think we’ll be in good hands with this one. Stick around for more one MAGDALENA as it’s announced!
