AICN scored a first-look at the poster for the upcoming HBO series TRUE BLOOD, from writer Alan Ball (AMERICAN BEAUTY, TV’s SIX FEET UNDER). Starring Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, BLOOD is a story of forbidden love: a small town waitress and a bad boy… of the vampire variety. Yippie.
If movies like TWILIGHT get your blood pumping, then BLOOD is right up your alley (i.e., vampire/human love story). Me, I prefer my vampires FROM DUSK TILL DAWN style, where the vamps are actually ugly (and scary), and not so damn pretty… but hey, maybe that’s just me.
The teaser poster for the series is pretty slick in its simplicity, and does exactly what a teaser poster is supposed to do: tease you. And if you’re into pale chicks, then it’s even better!
