We last told you about G. Cameron Romero’s STAUNTON HILL here. Now if you’ve heard of this film, you should be well aware of the fact that Mr. Romero is indeed related to horror legend George A. Romero, Cameron following in his father’s genre footsteps.

Well today Dread Central got a look at STAUNTON HILL in the form of a new trailer! Check that out right over here.

I’m not sold. Not at all. STAUNTON HILL seems to offer nothing new at all and just seems like an obvious cross between FRAILTY and THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE.

Unless I see something else that peeks my interest, there’s only two reasons thus far to check out STAUNTON HILL. To see how Cameron Romero does and to watch the gorgeous Cristen Coppen (below). At least the poster above is pretty badass.

STAUNTON HILL follows a group of hikers who unwittingly become involved with the diabolical Family Staunton. It’s written by David Rountree with Romero directing. Along with Coppen, it stars Rountree, Kathy Lamkin, Kiko Ellsworth, Christine Carlo, Paula Rhodes, Charlie Bodin, BJ Hendricks, Cooper Huckabee, and Sherry Weston.

So there you have it. Head on over to Dread Central to check out the flick’s new trailer or head over to the official website for more info. Keep it here for any more updates on STAUNTON HILL.
