The extra dreamy Odette Yustman (CLOVERFIELD, above) recently spoke to STYD regarding her upcoming roll in director David Goyer’s THE UNBORN (which I last wrote about here). She seemed very excited about the flick and had some pretty cool things to say. Have a look:

“There are so many elements to this film. There’s the Holocaust, there’s going back to the exorcisms… All of those elements make something so scary, so terrifying. But it’s also a psychological thriller that really gets you thinking. For me that was really exciting to take on that character and to do something new and something different. To be genuinely terrified because I had to go through so many different things like bugs… it was crazy.”

Wow, that does sound crazy indeed, and awesome! As for Ms. Yustman’s character, Casey, who endures a long, slow possession, she said, “It really challenged me because I had to wear these contact lenses throughout the whole movie and I never wear contacts.” Okay, so that wasn’t a whole lot of info, but it’s way better than nothing. Here’s a brief summation of the plot:

A young woman (Yustman)is pulled into a world of nightmares when a demonic spirit haunts her and threatens everyone she loves.

The rest of the cast includes Gary Oldman, Cam Gigandet, Carla Gugina, and Meagan Good. THE UNBORN is set to release some time in 2009 from Rogue Pictures.
