We’ve got a tasty exclusive for our faithful AITH readers! By now, I’m sure you’ve all become aware of the raging spook flick
100 FEET (our very own Mr. Arrow himself aka John Fallon has a role in it). Well, today we’ve scored four exclusive pics to further wet your genre-loving appetite! One’s above and the other three are below. Most of ’em feature the black-haired beauty Famke Jansen (but do take notice of the handsome gentleman in the policeman’s jacket and backwards hat).
After its presence at the Cannes Film Festival, 100 FEET steps closer to its inevitable release. I, for one, can’t wait (and that’s not me kissing up). This horror-in-the-house hellion has one legitimately interesting premise. Check it:
A young woman, Marnie Watson, is granted early release from her prison sentence for manslaughter (killing her husband – a violent NYC cop – in self defense) on condition she wear an electronic ankle bracelet and remain within her home, effectively under house arrest, for the remainder of her sentence. Her late husband’s partner keeps tabs on her from a patrol car parked across the street, hoping she’ll violate probation and he can send her back to prison. But the 100-foot radius her ankle bracelet allows isn’t the worst of her problems. Her dead husband –now a malevolent ghost–is still in the house, where he died — intent on savage revenge.
A pissed off, violent New York cop ghost?! What’s not to love?! That’s got to be
one of the meanest-sounding horror baddies I’ve ever heard! Plus, we’ve got
writer/director Eric Red (BODY PARTS, BAD MOON) pulling the strings! I seriously
hope the next time we write about 100 FEET, is to reveal its
sooner-than-you-think release date.
