We got a look at the MIRRORS teaser trailer, check it out below! It’s definitely a teaser, being less than a minute long.. but would I be wrong if I said that looks
f*cking awesome? I do notice the lack of a mall and/or department store though? And that was a big selling point for me personally.
Needless to say, I’m stoked. Regardless of being a remake of a Korean horror flick, I’m eagerly anticipating MIRRORS for the badass synopsis alone. It reads: A mall security guard becomes wrapped up in a mystery involving a particular department store’s mirrors which seem to bring out the worst in people.
Sounds awesome right? Plus I’m a fan of Alexandre Aja’s work, so I can’t wait to see him tackle this plot. Grégory Levasseur helped Aja with the script with the cast including Kiefer Sutherland, Paula Patton, Cameron Boyce, Erica
Gluck, Amy Smart (below), and Jason Flemyng.
MIRRORS hits theaters everywhere August 15, so expect much more advertising in the next couple months.
NOTE: The official website for MIRRORS recently got a bit of an update. Said update includes a pretty sweet picutre gallery and More about Mirrors Mythology. Maybe the mythology thing was there before and I missed it. Check that stuff out right over here or click the logo above.
