Yesterday Eric pointed you towards Julie Benz chatting it up on the HULK red carpet about her role in SAW V (check that shite out HERE), and today SuperHeroHype has Benz chatting it up about her other flick hitting theaters later this year, PUNISHER: WAR ZONE!
First off, she talks about the release date, which was news to me, as I could have sworn it was hitting theaters this September: It comes out in December and you’re going to see a much darker, edgier Punisher than you did in the past.
December, eh? Could it be that WAR ZONE is actually better than Lionsgate originally thought it would be? A December release is usually reserved for films of quality… let’s hope they’re right with this one!
Benz also talked a bit about her character: I play this kind of New York Italian cop’s wife and had to do an accent and everything. It was great.
