Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller has updated the official PLATINUM DUNES WEBSITE with an interesting entry and update on the FRIDAY THE 13TH remake! So what is it? FRIDAY THE 13TH’s last day of shooting is… Friday, June 13th!
Pretty cool way to wrap up the last day of shooting, if you ask me. Fuller also recapped the numbers for this entry of the series, and honesty… this beast is sounding cooler by the second. Check it out:
At this point the kills are now in double digits… We have kills that fans will recognize, but we have added a twist or three – some kills that you have never seen before. The kids in this film also have a lot of fun… drinking, smoking weed and having sex.
If this is true, then it looks like this flick is staying true to the series! I like the sounds of ‘hommage’ death sequences, as when pulled off properly, can be a whole hell of a lot of fun (case in point: JASON X‘s sleeping bag beat down, as originally seen in PART 7).
