Emmemax Films gave us a heads up this morning regarding their latest dip into horror, LONELY JOE, starring the beautiful Erica Leerhsen and David Fine. Word on the street is the film is just wrapping up the finishing touches on post production, with a sneak preview / premiere for next Friday, June 13th!

The Palace Theatre in Syracuse, NY, will be hosting the screening, and you (yes YOU) can go check it out for only $5 a ticket! That’s right, only $5! You can’t see a movie in theater for that price anymore, so scoop up the opportunity and hit this event up!

LONELY JOE is about a New York Journal reporter who returns to her former home of Solvay, NY in search of clues regarding the death of her brother and the bizarre disappearances of dozens of local residents over the course of the past 50 years.

Leerhsen is hot, and the story sounds cool enough–for $5, why the hell not??? Writer/Director Michael Coonce will be in attendance hosting the screening, as well as other members of the cast and crew. That right there would be worth the price of admission!

Grab some info from the poster to the right, and if you’re in the NY area, be sure to hit this beast up next Friday, June 13th at 7pm. Now THAT’s the way to spend a Friday the 13th!
