In the 80’s and the 90’s rock, heavy metal, whatever you
want to call it went hand in severed hand with our beloved genre. Often enough “music
videos” either containing clips from the films or that invented their own
stories inspired by the themes of the movies in question would surface weeks before a
film’s release.
It was a good way to promote a horror flick and often enough it
resulted in some badass or/and tacky rock. So with that hefty chunk of nostalgia lodged firmly in my
back pocket, I went about and found 10 of my fav genre music videos (and
some bonuses). Allow me to share them with you guys!
