In honor of REEL ACTION: Seagalogy, I feel it is only appropriate to report that the man who made ponytails look tough, Mr. Steven Seagal, will be appearing in an upcoming horror flick! It’s called LAST NIGHT and check out what it’s about:
A futuristic fright-flick that tells of a group of people in a hospital who are transformed into bloodsucking vampires. And get this: Seagal plays the commander of a troop of soldiers sent in to obliterate the neck-biters! Seagal versus Vampires?! Are you f*cking kidding me?! If you didn’t get a cheesy late 80’s/early 90’s action fanboy chubby from hearing this news, then you must be headed for a coma HARD-TO-KILL-style!
He’s fought terrorists! He’s fought the mob! He’s fought weird Jamaican voodoo-guys! He even makes running like a girl look bad-ass (see the opening chase of MARKED FOR DEATH). Now Seagal faces his ultimate battle–undead fanged nightstalkers! LAST NIGHT was directed by Richard Crudo from a script by Matthew Klickstein. It also stars Tanoai Reed, Jenna Harrison, Skye Bennett, Daniel Percival, and Emma Catherwood. It’s currently in post-production and looking at a 2008 release.
