SOOIE! SOOIE!! OINK! OINK!! Please excuse me, I was just trying to write out my best pig call to prep you for the article about this upcoming flick. It’s called SQUEAL (can you possibly guess what it’s about?). That’s right! Mutant… Killer… Pig… People! As if the pics above and below weren’t enough of a dead giveaway. Well, have a look at the flick’s full synopsis:
An indie rock band gets stranded on a country road when they encounter a genetic experiment gone wrong! After a dark and bloody night held captive in a farmhouse, the sun rises on the carnage and sheds light on the horrors of animal testing.
Pig flicks sure are becoming popular in our genre. Just the other day, Mr. Ammon gave us the heads up on another swine-themed offering on the way. Perhaps the studios feel there is some big bacon to be earned in the oinker industry. I just hope SQUEAL doesn’t turn out to be a stinker because the trailer on its website looks like some fun f*cked-up shit! Click here to check it out.
SQUEAL was directed by Tony Swansey, produced by Dennis Doornbos, and stars Kevin Oestenstad. It was filmed in and around Chicago. Once news about an official release gets squealed, I’ll be sure to let you know.
