CHAINSAW CHEERLEADERS! If that title doesn’t get you at least a little excited, then your membership at AITH has been revoked! This flick looks like another kind gift from the genre gods. Don’t believe me? Well, if you check out the recently released trailer, you’ll understand. I’ll give you a sample of what you’ll see: gore, girl-on-girl action, organs ripped from bodies, showers, demons, horror hottie legend Tiffany Shepis (below), and of course, lots o’ chainsaws!
The flick’s indie writer/director, Donald Farmer, gave Fango some plot details as well as a bunch of lovely pics like the ones above and below. Now, have a look at the synopsis: A 16th-century witch uses her black-magic powers to escape being burned and winds up in the present day. There, her evil schemes are opposed by the quartet of title characters.
Sounds like a bloody good (and hopefully boob-filled) time! In addition to Shepis (who plays the witch), the rest of the cast includes Debbie Rochon, Jackey Hall, Ciara Richards and Jim O’Rear. As for a release, Farmer said, “We’ll be screening the film at various horror festivals during the summer and fall, and hopefully a DVD release will be ready to announce before the end of the year.
