At the end of last year, we busted out the first poster for a grisly forest-stalker flick called BIND here. We vowed to give you more info as it happened and this is me keeping our word! BIND’s writer/director, Dan Walton, recently dropped an update on his baby.
According to Walton, BIND is moving ahead nicely with some new actors and producers brough aboard in the forms of Brooke Lewis and Jim Pacitti. Both will be acting and producing, with Lewis going through her own Philly Chick Pictures as well as playing “Joan”, the lead female.
Lewis and Pacitti join already-cast genre faves such as Devon Sawa (FINAL DESTINATION), Tony Todd (CANDYMAN), Ken Foree (DAWN OF THE DEAD), and Dan Ellis (GUTTERBALLS). Here’s a refresher for BIND’s fun-sounding plot: For years the wooded mountains have been the setting for many myths, horror and ghost stories, told one generation to the next on camping trips. Only, what no one ever thought to consider was, what if there was someone in those woods worse than any myth imaginable…a grisly forest-stalker opus in the ’80s tradition… Again, we’ll keep you posted on any further info.
