The first major casting news for TRANSFORMERS 2 has hit the web: Australian-born Teresa Palmer (THE GRUDGE 2) will be taking on an unspecified role in the flick, due to hit theaters next June… This is the second Aussie lady in as many T-Formers movies that director Michael Bay has cast – the unbelievably hot Rachael Taylor portrayed the world’s sexiest computer geek in the first entry.

This comes on the heels of the rumor that Jonah Hill (SUPERBAD) will be taking on a supporting role as Shia LaBeouf’s roommate. Shia and Hill together in a Michael Bay movie? Pass me that lighter fluid so I can pour it into my own eyes!

Still Teresa’s pretty smokin’, so it won’t all be ugly dudes and pop-culture knowledgable robots. Oh, and let’s not forget there’s a cetain Fox also set to return…
