Dread Central recently caught up with Ken Yakkel at Fangoria Weekend of Horrors. Yakkel is the man who penned the upcoming zombie flick DEAD AIR. (Which we last told you about here)
Well Yakkel let word out on what his next project is going to be, and it sounds like something pretty tapped. Yakkel is next working on THIS IS YOUR DEATH.
Now the premise for THIS IS YOUR DEATH is actually pretty messed up… but it’s definately something. Dread Central tell us the plot reads: a take off of “American Idol” but, instead of people getting up to sing their hearts out, they get up on stage and are judged by their manner of suicide.
What exactly does the winner get? Who knows. This idea was actually joked about on a recent episode of LEWIS BLACK’S ROOT OF ALL EVIL, as a potential reality show in the future. (where ‘AMERICAN IDOL’ was decided the Root fo All Evil… no argument here.)
THIS IS YOUR DEATH already has a sweet ass title, and from the looks of DEAD AIR it’s got a kickass writer behind it. While we wait for more updates you can enjoy the extremely hot chick below.
