For some reason, the sick little flick DEATH FACTORY slipped under my “horror-movie-watching radar”. An oversight which I will be looking to remedy now that I’ve learned of its way cool girl-becomes-psychotic-mutated-monster-killer plot (and that it starred Tiffany Shepis below). And apparently, a sequel is headed our way next month on DVD called DEATH FACTORY: BLOODLETTING. Though Tiffany sat this one out, the trailer looks like loads of gore-filled fun! But first take a swipe at the synopsis for the sequel: “Death Factory: Bloodletting” (‘Saw’ meets ‘Grindhouse’) is a horror film about a group of online deviants who are invited to an abandoned factory to witness a “bloodletting”, an event displaying the torture and murder of an innocent person. Once inside, they soon realize that they have been lured into a trap by a self-righteous madman who uses the factory and its bloodthirsty inhabitant as his own personal version of Hell.
Sounds like demented fun. And the mutant monster chick (above) looks appropriately savage. Plus, check out the crazy list of character names: Rubber Love, Cockmaster, The Object, Black Johnson, Hansel, and Gretel. Great stuff! The real names of the aforementioned
cast members are David C. Hayes, Josh Bingenheimer, Shareese Hegna, Kareem McRoy, Joth Andrews, and Nadine (no last name). The Sean Tretta-directed flick will be releasing on DVD sometime in 2008.
