First off, I must confess to the crime of having never seen the first REST STOP in its entirety. However, I do plan on righting that wrong after viewing the new trailer for the flick’s sequel, REST STOP: DON’T LOOK BACK. This follow-up, which we last spoke of here, is looking like one fun, intense, and sick ride! It seems we’ll be treated to crashes, explosions, torture, hot girls, and a heavy helping of psychos! I highly recommend you check it out below, but first peep the plot of part 2:
The story takes place a year after the events of the first film, when Tom, brother of the original’s ill-fated Jesse, returns home from military service to learn that Jesse and his girlfriend Nicole have been missing. Joined by pals Marilyn and Jared, Tom traces the couple’s trail, which leads to the rest stop where they were terrorized by the evil driver in the yellow pickup truck. The psycho reappears to kidnap and torture Tom while Marilyn and Jared encounter the weird Winnebago family, as well as the ghost of Nicole.
The flick was directed by Shawn Papazian (2nd unit director on part one), and stars Joey Mendicino, Jessie Ward (below), Graham Norris, Richard Tillman, Diane Salinger, Mikey Post, and Julie Mond. Expect to catch it on DVD this October from Raw Feed.
