Sisters get new names

One way to pretend that you’re not releasing a remake is to change the name of the remake so that it’s nothing like the original’s… right? I mean, if the name is different, who’s going to know the difference, right? Right??? Apparently that’s the train of though coming out of Dreamworks, as their remake of Ji-woon Kim’s A TALE OF TWO SISTERS is not going to be called A TALE OF TWO SISTERS, but rather THE UNINVITED.

While I can understand the reasoning, as the original title is somewhat long, it just seems odd to me that they went and gone changed the entire name to something (seemingly) totally unrelated… and yes, ridiculously generic. THE UNINVITED? That could be the title of about a hundred other movies!

The remake stars hottie Elizabeth Banks, David Strathairn, Arielle Kebbel, and Emily Brown, and is due sometime later this year, although no official date has been set. Stick around for more news on A TALE OF TW… I mean, THE UNINVITED, as we hear it!

Elizabeth Banks is invited any day of the week!
