After dishing the scoops, the stories, the theories, and the hype about the upcoming stab at THE PUNISHER franchise titled PUNISHER: WAR ZONE, I now have some seriously exciting news: the OFFICIAL SITE has now gone live!!!
Though mostly blank and uneventful, it does feature this ‘teaser poster’ of sorts (as you can see above), as well as two brand spankin’ new images of our favorite vigilante in action. Nothing to blow your load over, but cool to check out anyway. There’s also a way for you to register for updates… that is, if that sort of thing is your bag.
Directed by (hottie) Lexi Alexander, the new PUNISHER stars Ray Stevenson, Dominic West, Doug Hutchinson, Colin Salmon, Wayne Knight, Dash Mihok, and Julie Benz (below).
While I’m diggin’ the concept of the above look, I must say… Stevenson isn’t really ‘doing it’ for me as far as having the ‘look’ of the Punisher I know and love. That said, he does seem to be the spitting image of the graphic novel form, so I suppose it’s mission accomplished!
