Still holds the rights for any FRIGHT NIGHT published material and is currently looking into re-releasing both the novelization of FRIGHT NIGHT (written by splatterpunk faves John Skipp and Craig Spector), as well as the NOW comic books, both long out of print. He also admitted that he is scheduled for a “luncheon” to discuss the FRIGHT NIGHT remake, which apparently has gone through 3 un-usable drafts.
Go get ’em, Tom! Make sure they do your original masterpiece justice! The initial synopsis for the remake had something to do with including an amusement park. Now don’t get me wrong, vampires at an amusement park is all fine and dandy, but NOT if you’re remaking FRIGHT NIGHT! The original was about a teenaged boy who discovers that his neighbor is a vampire. Do you see anything about roller coasters or cotton f-ing candy?! Where the hell do you get off adding a mother-flipping amusement park?! Drive a stake through those 3 un-usable drafts and write up something worthy! Thank you.
