You might have heard of this show on Showtime called DEXTER. It’s a little gem that stars Michael C. Hall, Julie Benz (below), and Jennifer Carpenter. By little gem I mean blockbuster television series.
Well if your like most of America, and you can’t get enough DEXTER, you might find this news pretty interesting.
IGN are reportnig that Showtime Networks and Marc Ecko Entertainement are going to be working on a DEXTER videogame! You read that right… a DEXTER videogame!
Marc Fernandez, Vice President of Marc Ecko Entertainment, had the following to say regarding the project:
“Dexter is the extremely rare TV show with enough layers of action and tension to translate perfectly into a compelling videogame. Our game designers, writers, and artists are going to give Dexter’s morally complex world the kind of interactivity that gamers will love.”
Not much other info for the game has been released. Only other tidbit is that Ecko Entertainement will be working closely with Showtime to keep the game as close to the show as possible.
DEXTER is about a forensics expert who works for the police hunting serial killers by day… and is a serial killer himself by night. As soon as we hear any more info on this game, we’ll update you.
