For those fans of HEROES who can’t get enough of star Milo Ventimiglia now that the second season ended a tad premature, get ready to see Ventimiglia on the big screen… with PATHOLOGY!

While originally set to be released back in November, MGM announced today that the film finally has an ‘official’ release date – April 18th, 2008!

I’ve heard mixed reviews of PATHOLOGY so far, but as it co-stars Alyssa Milano, you know there’ll be plenty of T and even some A to go around – and considering the film’s dark premise, there ain’t nothing wrong with that!

The flick revolves around a bunch of med students with WAY too much time on their hands, who all set out to see who can create/commit the perfect murder. Oh, you crazy med students! You know a movie like this is out to show you a good time when it lands an R rating for this laundry list of reasons: violence, gruesome images, strong sexual content, nudity, drug use and language. So basically, this flick has it all!

Hopefully it won’t go through the release date shuffle truffle again, as mid April seems like a solid time to release a flick of this nature. Whether it lives up to the hype that began at last year’s COMICON has yet to be seen, but now we shall know soon enough when PATHOLOGY hits theaters everywhere April 18, 2008.
