It sounds like we’ve got a potentially twisted flick to look forward to. And the psychopath partaking in the twisted fun? A former hobbit.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, LORD OF THE RINGS star Dominic Monaghan (right) will be starring in Edna McCallion’s PET.
PET.. simple enough, right? Apparently Monaghan will play Seth, a man who bumps into his old high school crush and quickly becomes obsessed with her. He takes her captive underneath the animal shelter where he works but soon suspects that his old flame is not who she seems to be.
You know we’ve all wanted to do that before… only me? Moving on. The film is described as a psychological thriller… Really? I think it fits under the romantic comedy category as well.
Lame joking aside, the film is set to begin shooting in the next few months. It’s produced by Aaron Kaplan, Sean Perrone, Steven Schneider and Dan Katzman. Jason Weiss and Alex Ankeles of MGM will oversee production.
