CORALINE looks to be one to watch for next year. From the man who directed THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, how can it not be?

We last told you about CORALINE here, where we pointed you towards a small clip from the author of the CORALINE novel, Neil Gaiman.

Well the teaser for the flick has hit the net recently, mind you it’s bootleg style, but it’s here. You can check that out below and it definately has me intrigued even more to check this one out. Seeing how the animation in this one is looking to be amazing, that horrible quality is nothing compared to what we’ll eventually see.

The synopsis for CORALINE reads: Coraline Jones is bored and unhappy in her new home with its strange neighbors both upstairs and down. Then she discovers a secret door to a better version of her life, a world created by her Other Mother to delight and entertain her and fill her with delicious meals. There’s just one “small thing” she’ll need to do if she wants to stay in this magical place forever.

It’s got the voice talents of Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher (below), Ian McShane, Keith David, and Jennifer Saunders. As I stated, it’s directed by NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS helmer Henry Selick, who also wrote the script for CORALINE from Neil Gaiman’s children’s novel.

CORALINE is slated for release February 6, 2009. We’ll be sure to keep you updated, especially when the top quality teaser hits the web.

Gorgeous CORALINE voice talent Teri Hatcher.
