Director Darren Lynn Bousman updated his MySpace blog over the weekend, and talked about where REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA is at (as well as this sweet new promotional pic of the film), and his thoughts on the upcoming SAW V.
Bousman essentially finished putting REPO together and has sent his version of the film to the suits and execs of Lionsgate for a screening… must be nerve racking as hell, but he seems to be holding his cool pretty well. Which is great – if he was super nervous, I’d start having second thoughts on the quality of the film as a whole, but so far… it’s looking good!
He also had this to say about SAW V: Last week, they opened up the preproduction office for V. It feels strange not to be there… It feels even stranger knowing that those production offices are only two blocks from where I am now… But, I feel confident in the fact that the franchise is in great hands with David [Hackyl].
For those convinced that they were going to hold off a year or two before busting out another entry in the series… well, you were wrong. Looks like this year will be another Halloween for SAW.
