Doomsday gets rated

Neil Marshall has yet to let us down on the violence, gore, and all around good-time R rated entertainment with his previous efforts (DOG SOLDIERS, THE DESCENT), and his next entry in his unofficial ‘D’ series, DOOMSDAY, is no different!

Box Office MoJo just scored the update from the MPAA that DOOMSDAY will be rated R. But what’s even better? Check out the reasons why: strong bloody violence, language and some sexual content/nudity!

Not just violence, but the strong bloody violence variety – and some nudity thrown in to boot? Wow. I’m stoked! This just made my day – the ultimate rating for what appears to be the ultimate post-apocalyptic epic, from one of the true modern-day masters of horror!
