It has been awhile since we’ve heard from the camp bringing us PUNISHER: WAR ZONE, but today we have a few tidbits of info to keep your interests up. Primarily, we have one smokin’ hot new cast member to tell you about, and a gallery of set pics for your to peruse.
First up, the cast. It looks like hottie Julie Benz will be starring alongside Frank Castle, more than likely as a hot blond… and maybe even as the love interest. Specifics aren’t known except that she has a starring role. Benz delighted most out there for her role in the ‘Buffy’ and ‘Angel’ TV series, and I think I can speak for the rest of us to say THANK YOU for returning to the big screen. Wow.

While I’ve been somewhat skeptical regarding WAR ZONE, mostly because Thomas Jane skipped out on the project because he didn’t like where the script was going, the new casting news and yes… even the gallery of slightly boring set pics has me thinking this may not be so bad afterall… stick around for more on PUNISHER: WAR ZONE as we hear it!
